We’re finalising the Chrome Web Store submission. Until that arrives, the extension installs by hand — a friendly procedure that takes about two minutes.
Download the extension (.zip)Click here to download the .zipif you haven’t already. It is a small file, roughly 30 KB.
macOS: double-click the downloaded .zip — Finder unpacks it automatically next to the original.
Windows: right-click the .zip → Extract All → choose a destination.
Either way you’ll end up with a folder containing a manifest.jsonfile at its root — that’s the one the browser loads.
Note —don’t delete or move this folder after installing. The browser loads the extension directly from it. Keep it somewhere stable, such as ~/Documents/Kooroo/ (Mac) or Documents\Kooroo\ (Windows).
Paste this address into the browser’s URL bar and press Enter:
chrome://extensionsEdge → edge://extensions · Brave → brave://extensions · Arc → arc://extensions
Find the Developer mode toggle at the top right of the extensions page and switch it on. Three new buttons reveal themselves: Load unpacked, Pack extension, and Update.
Click Load unpacked and select the folder from step two — the one containing manifest.json. The Kooroo icon appears in the browser toolbar.
Pin it: click the puzzle-piece icon next to the URL bar, find Koorooin the list, and click the pin. Now it’s one click away on every page.
Click the Kooroo icon, open the gear, and add your cards. Then visit a shop and watch it work. Thank you for testing.
.zip, replace the unzipped folder in place, then visit chrome://extensions and click the reload icon on the Kooroo card. About fifteen seconds in total.chrome://extensions and click Remove on the Kooroo card. Your wallet (which lived only in the browser) is wiped at once.
